ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Mel/Faris (she/her), a freelance illustrator and 2D character designer! I frequently work on private commissions for clients and design stickers and other merch for my Etsy shop. I love drawing characters, even better if there's a fantasy or sci-fi spin to them!

I've been drawing since I can remember, first with paper and pencil, and then with a Wacom Bamboo tablet given to me on my 21st birthday from my parents (still the best birthday gift I've ever received). When I'm not drawing, I might be playing a new video game, reading a (hopefully good) book, or traveling around to see long-distance friends. 

I also illustrated The Trip, a children’s book written by author Sharmagne Leland-St. John and published in 2021.

I'm currently open for freelance and in-house work!
